Architecture is frozen music, and this series is an attempt to capture its rhythm. I focused on modern concrete and steel structures, looking for abstract shapes created by the intersection of walls, columns, and windows under hard midday sunlight.
The hard shadows become sculptural elements themselves, slicing through the frames and creating strong diagonal compositions. The series is presented in high-contrast monochrome and muted earth tones to bring out the raw texture of board-formed concrete and sandblasted granite.
